As expected, Walt Disney World increased the cost of park admission beginning June 3, 2012. But the new pricing unveiled a silver lining! Previously, the Park Hopper Option and the Water Park Fun & More Option were about $55 plus tax each. So adding both options added over $110 to your ticket price. Under the new pricing structure, adding both the Park Hopper and the Water Park Option to your ticket is only $79 plus tax, making adding both much more affordable. Each individual option is $57 plus tax but combine the two and save!
This makes adding the Water Park Option to a Park Hopper Ticket a great deal, even if you are only planning to visit a Water Park once during your trip. Where previously, guests had to visit a Water Park twice during their stay to make the option a good value, now if they combine the Water Park Option with the Park Hopper Option, they are getting a great deal the very first time they visit a Water Park.
