Greetings fellow Mouse Fans!
Planning a group trip can be tricky. Different generations, different needs, different expectations can all lead to chaos if they are not communicated and discussed. My family is lucky – they pretty much tell me when they can travel and then show up on the day I tell them and follow me around the parks for a few days. 🙂 But even if you don't have your own personal tour guide, appointing someone to take the lead is critical!
Communication is key. I recommend at least two planning meetings – one when you are trying to decide the basics – when to go, where to stay, etc. Then another when you are planning details – where to eat, what park to visit each day. Then let the point person work with your travel planner to make arrangements! The point person can copy everyone on all communication or, even better, simply send periodic updates so that everyone is on the same page. Better yet – have your travel planner send an e-mail to everyone whenever major changes are made or significant decisions are needed!
Be well and make magic wherever you go!
