Greetings Mouse Fans!
Today’s FAQ: "Is Disney’s Magical Express Service free?"
Answer: This one is one of my favorite answers - "Yes! It is free!" How often do you get to say that when talking about Walt Disney World? Disney’s Magical Express (DME) service is currently set to remain free for Walt Disney World resort guests until the end of 2016.
DME is not actually without cost to the Walt Disney Company. In addition to the obvious expenses such as the buses, the drivers, gas, etc. Orlando International Airport charges Disney $0.75 per passenger. So sit back and leave the driving to Disney!

Greetings Mouse Fans!
I often get e-mails from clients that open with, "I hate to bother you…" or "I have a stupid question." These e-mails are never a bother and never contain a stupid question! The truth is that Disney travel is such a vast topic that there is no such thing as a stupid question. And if an e-mail from a client is a bother, I should be in a different business! So over the next few days I will be going over some of our most frequently asked questions. I’ve asked our agents to send me their FAQ’s and I’ll be using some of my own. And hopefully, you’ll learn something new!

Fantastic deals are still available at Walt Disney world this summer including Free Dining in late summer. Are you sticking closer to home? Local travel is very popular this summer thanks to the current economy and rising gas prices.
Whether you plan to spend your summer lazing by your local pool or hitting the road with the family, be safe! And contact your favorite travel planner for some fantastic deals on summer travel.

Greetings Mouse Fans!
Today is typical of a Memorial Day weekend in New England - it’s alternating between gorgeous and torrential thunderstorms. Gotta love weather like this! But it’s not unlike Walt Disney World in the summer with what seems like daily afternoon thundershowers. As we head in to the busy summer travel season, make sure to keep the following in mind:
-If you’re going on Splash Mountain, you WILL get wet. Don’t let a little rain stop you from enjoying the parks!
-Sunblock, Sunblock, Sunblock! ‘Nuf said.
-Do not underestimate the effect of the heat on your family. Take breaks and stay hydrated!
-Plan mid-day breaks at your resort. A nap and a swim can go a long way towards restoring your mood and energy for evening Extra Magic Hours!
With that in mind, enjoy your holiday and BE SAFE!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Mouse Fans!
Ahhhhhh - a three day weekend. A blissful escape from the daily grind for many of us. Much like a trip to Walt Disney World! I was lucky enough to be in Walt Disney World this month celebrating PassPorter’s Decade of Dreams. Talk about blissful!
A large group of PassPorter’s (there were 80 at our "birthday party" on May 3!) came together in a wonderful celebration of the friendship and community we have found through these books and their message board. We started with Dole Whips - although I’m more of a Mickey Bar girl myself - and began our tour through the theme parks. Each day brought new meets and new "Quests" - hunts through the parks designed by Jennifer Marx. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom - nowhere was safe from the horde of blue lanyard wearing Disneyphiles!
Highlights include the birthday party in the VIP room at The Living Seas, a "Magic Moment" doing the Dinosaur Dance at Animal Kingdom and countless impromptu meets and "FABs" (Frosty Adult Beverages) with friends. Hugs and promises to meet again soon brought an end to the festivities but many are planning to attend the Mouse Fan Reunion in December. Will you be there?

Good morning Mouse Fans! Even though I’ve been home from Decade of Dreams for two weeks, I just finished unpacking. Am I the only one that postpones unpacking in the hopes of stretching out my vacation?
Celebrating PassPorter’s 10th anniversary with Jennifer and Dave Marx and the great bunch of cruisers they’d assembled definitely goes down in my list of favorite trips. We had a great group with a wide range of ages and interest. But my favorite was watching the first time cruisers get their feet wet, so to speak. They unanimously agreed that they would be back and that any other line would likely pale in comparison to Disney! In fact, quite a few have already booked return voyages.
From meeting friends both known and new at the Port to trying to cram 40 people into a photo op with the Captain to laughing until our sides hurt at Pub Night in Diversions on the last night, a fabulous time was had by all. For more about Decade of Dreams and how I wound up Sick At Sea, check out the May 14, 2009 issue of PassPorter News.

Greetings fellow Mouse Fans! My name is Sara and I will be your blogger today. In fact, I’ll be posting at least 5 days a week for the foreseeable future! I can’t promise that every post will be scintillating but I’ll do my best to make it informative and fun. I’ll also keep them short to make for quick and easy reading.
So for my first post, a little about me. Some of you may know me from PassPorter - known as Belle* on the PassPorter Boards, I am also the Editor of PassPorter News, the Goddess of the PassPorter’s Club (yes, that is my actual title thank you very much!) and Online Coordinator for PassPorter. I joined MEI & Mouse Fan Travel in January 2008. I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world to have not one but two jobs that allow me to indulge my passion for Disney every day.
I’ve just returned from celebrating PassPorter’s Decade of Dreams on the Disney Magic and at Walt Disney World so stay tuned next week for some of my experiences.
