It is already Friday the 13th of July which isn’t an unlucky day for me. It is a lucky day becasue it means it is just about time for the Magic Meet in PA. I have been counting down the days for awhile now. It was a week ago today that I started packing my car in Florida. We hit I 95 for the fun drive from FL to PA. We drive up to visit family each summer so the Magic Meet is a perfect fit for me. I am glad to be able to add this event to our summer pilgrimage. I attended last year and had so much fun and this year is going to be bigger and better, especially since Hersheypark is a post Magic Meet event!
Growing up in PA Hersheypark was the next best thing to going to Disney World. We would visit quite often but now it is the other way around for me. I am looking forward to seeing this old favorite again. Any place with chocolate as a mascot can never be bad if you ask me.
If you are wondering what the Magic Meet is all about it is sort of like a Mousefest in July. There will be many guidebook aurthors, webmasters, and of course Disney fans all gahtering together to share thier love of Disney. This year’s meet sold out rather quick so if this sounds like something you may want do next summer be sure to check the site www.magicmeets.com I will do my best to post some details from the event as soon as possible,
If you already have your ticket for this year please stop by and say HI! If you don’t have a ticket to the meet but live close enough to Hersheypark we would love to see you in the park on Sunday too!
See ya real soon!

Hi everybody, this review was written by my client who is 12 years old. She just returned last month from the Quest for the West. I thought I would share this with everyone. - Michelle
My Dad and I chose Quest for the West for its great combination of fun activities, nature experiences and nice places to stay. Little did we guess just how fantastic the trip would be. If you like hiking, horseback riding and white water rafting while surrounded by breathtaking scenery- this is the trip for you. Our Disney guides were great! They really kept the fun going with camp-fire songs, a scavenger hunt and loads of special Disney surprises, but were also very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. (One guide was a former Yellowstone Park Ranger) Over the trip, the animals spotted included a mother black bear and two cubs, loads of bison and dozens of elk, as well as ground squirrels, marmots, wolves and, of course, lots of fish: cut throat, brown and rainbow trout. You really got to see lots of nature, but perhaps the best part of the trip was experiencing Old Faithful’s eruption dozens of times as well as exploring other geysers, mud-pots, fumeroles and hot springs. Our cool laser thermometers even registered the heat in the ground beneath our feet (which was in some parts 190°F)! Our stays in Jackson and at Brooks Lake lodge were spent surrounded by the majestic Teton Mountain range. The scenery is so spectacular. You could see snow-covered peaks reflected in a lake when we rode by on horse-back. It sounds too good to be true, but it really is, and w as an awesome experience. This was a trip my Dad and I will never forget and I can’t wait until our next Disney Adventure
