How tall is the holiday tree at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa? How many yards of ribbon does it take to decorate a cruise ship? We’ve asked the experts for answers to both of these questions and a whole lot more!

Here’s a look at some holiday fun facts from around our world:

• Artificial "Icon" trees can be found at the Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, the Disney-MGM Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Downtown Disney® Marketplace and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
• The "Icon" trees range in height from 45 feet to 70 feet.
• The "Icon" trees range in weight from 28,000 pounds to 32,000 pounds.
• Each tree has more than 5,500 lights twinkling from the branches.
• The holiday trees located at the Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, the Disney-MGM Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park are all 65 feet tall.
• The largest base section weighs 18,000 pounds and is 26 feet wide.
• The "Icon" trees are transported to their locations by flatbed trucks and lifted into place with a 70-ton crane.
• There are more than 1,500 decorated trees located throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort.
• Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa features a 40-foot holiday tree in the lobby. The tree glows with 45,000 LED lights.
• Disney’s Pop Century Resort features a 20-foot lobby tree that is decorated with nostalgic ornamentation.
• The holiday tree located in front of Disney’s Contemporary Resort is 70 feet tall and is decorated with approximately 77,000 clear mini-lights.
• The holiday tree located in the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is 50 feet tall with a five-foot base.
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is decorated with a lobby tree, a 50-foot traditional style Christmas tree, which has an authentic African décor. The tree is decorated with handmade African baskets, reproductions of traditional African masks and authentic African fabrics.
• The holiday tree located near the entrance to Once Upon A Toy at the Downtown Disney® Marketplace is decorated with a toy theme featuring toys from the shop.
• Overall, the Walt Disney World® Resort is decorated with approximately 8.5 million lights, approximately 15 miles of garland and more than 300,000 yards of ribbon.
• The largest wreath at the Walt Disney World® Resort is 25 feet in diameter. This wreath is located on the Cirque du Soleil building at Downtown Disney® West Side.
• Both the Disney Magic® and Disney Wonder® feature a 20-foot tree and themed decorations in each of the ship’s restaurants.
• Between the two ships there are 25 trees. Along with the terminal, this means Disney Cruise Line® uses approximately 25,950 holiday lights.
• The ships are decked with 1,260 feet of garland, which sparkles with 14,700 lights.
• Each ship features 40 custom-decorated wreaths lit with approximately 6,000 lights.
• More than 3,600 yards of ribbon are used to decorate the wreaths, garland and trees at Disney Cruise Line®.
• The Disney Magic® is the only ship that has a holiday tree on its mast. There are more than 1,000 ornaments on this lobby tree alone.
• The holiday tree at Disneyland® Park is a live white Fir, hand-picked from Mt. Shasta, California, and decorated with more than 1,200 ornaments and more than 5,000 lights.
• Overall, the Disneyland® Resort is decorated with more than 380,000 holiday lights.
• The Disneyland® Resort decorations include more than 4,300 feet of garland and approximately 30,000 poinsettias.
• The Disneyland® Resort horticulture team uses more than 400 live holiday trees each year. These trees are later re-planted throughout the resort or donated to local organizations.
